I felt like looking for a home for some of my thoughts that do not fit into 140, 240 or 500 characters. As far as I have experienced the last years, humanity seems to tend to short texts and statements not really covering topics to an extend it sometimes might require. But since I also don’t want to bore anyone, I will try to keep myself limited to writing the necessary bits only. However, this might me a bit more than the usual limits of social media posts. Here are some topics you will be able to find here in the future.

Technology⌗

I am rather fond of technology! I like to play with computers since my childhood and maybe I got somewhat experienced with them. However, I am not to deep into all that nerd stuff. Lately I thought about getting back to developing software, which I have abadoned a couple of years back. On the other hand, I have never tinkered with hardware that much. But now I seem to get interested in that. Boards like the Raspberry Pi Pico and other stuff are quite appealing to me to challenge myself in building something in hardware. Let’s see if this will take me anywhere. So some content here might be related to these topics.

Politics⌗

Being very interested in the world I live in, I’m also a bit into politics. Especially around topics like data privacy and digitization. Since I live in Germany, this is really a daily challenge. Frequently I experience an increased level of disappointment observing my fellow citizens in struggeling with the digital era. Also our authroities have been falling far behind other countries compared to the rest of Europe or even beyond. I’m an advocate of cutting edge technologies while keeping data privacy in mind with each advancing step. Open Source Software is most probably key here, as it’s most probably the best way invented yet to generate the necessary transparency.

Ah, and by the way: I’m most probably a very untypical German national. I am not very fond of cars. I think they are the menace of a livable and human-friendly city. Since I do not live in the countryside, I don’t own one and also don’t need one. It would be very pleasing to me if some other persons living in my area would think the same way.
